Clean Energy Transitions in Sahel Countries Regional Dialogue Event

The IEA is currently leading analytical work on Clean Energy Transitions in Senegal, Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, and Chad with the aim to take stock of the energy landscape in these countries including developments and challenges; to propose pathways for future energy systems in the region based on scenarios; and to identify best practices and lessons learned on several energy topics to accelerate clean energy transitions in the region.

This will be done through a report to be published in June 2021, which will be launched, disseminated and discussed during a Regional Dialogue and Report Launch event.
