12th of November 2019: Annual plenary meeting of the Africa-Europe High Level Platform on Sustainable Energy Investments, Johannesburg

Key recommendations for accelerating investment in the energy sector in Africa and stimulating sustainable growth and job creation were presented to the annual plenary meeting of the Africa-Europe High-Level Platform on Sustainable Energy Investments. The event took place during the second Africa Investment Forum in Johannesburg, organised by the African Development Bank. Members of the High-Level Platform highlighted the potential for renewable energy and regionalisation in Africa. The EU supports the platform’s activities. More information can be found here.
