Network and Exchange at the AEEP Forum 2022

On 7 September the AEEP Forum 2022 will offer a unique opportunity to connect and network with key African, European and international experts in the field of climate and energy. The speakers, exhibitors, and participants represent a wide range of governments, private sector actors, academia and NGOs working on different aspects of the energy transitions in Africa and Europe.

Seven Thematic Exchanges

From 9:30 – 10:00CET (10:30-11:00 EAT) and 1:30 – 2 CET (2:30-3 EAT) seven thematic exchanges will highlight the work of African and European institutions and initiatives according to topic. As a forum attendee you can join any of the thematic exchanges at any time to actively engage with and ask questions to highly specialised exhibitors and tap into the latest knowledge available in their fields.

By clicking the calendar icon in the right corner of each individual exchange you can add them to your personal agenda where you also see your current network, schedule, upcoming meetings, and bookmarks.

Virtual exhibitors

During the entirety of the event, 15 exhibitors will host virtual booths that feature information about the multiple institution or initative that will be present, and engage with them via the links to their social media and contact details. As a participant of the AEEP Forum, you can send the exhibitors direct messages to request more information or ask for a one-on-one meeting with someone from their team. It’s also possible to bookmark your favourite booths and follow up with them after the event.

One-on-one networking

As an online event the AEEP Forum allows you, as a registered attendee, to network with speakers, institutions, and fellow participants. Upon registering, make sure to select the topics, which are interesting and relevant to you. The platform uses an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm to match you with other participants and speakers who have similar interests and provides a valuable tool to match the right people and create fruitful connections. You will also be able to see the co-participants profiles, send a connection request, write a direct message, or set up a personal meeting in one of the allotted time slots.
