Under the theme âPutting Africa on a Firm Footing for Recovery, Growth, and Resilience through Infrastructureâ, the 7th PIDA Week brought together international and regional expertise from multiple stakeholders to deliberate on the issues around infrastructure delivery in Africa.
The Middle East and North Africa Climate Week (MENACW) will build on the outcomes of COP26 and explore resilience against climate risks, the transition to a low-emission economy, uncover areas of collaboration, and integrate climate action into the global pandemic recovery.

The 7th AEEP Energy Talks will take place on March 23rd, and will explore the outcomes of the EU-AU Summit on energy and discuss African and European priorities ahead of COP27. To discuss the road ahead, the upcoming AEEP Energy Talks will host representatives from the AU Commission and the EU Commission to address how the outcomes of the EU-AU Summit can inform African ambitions as we approach COP27.
During the 6th EU-AU Summit in Brussels on 17-18 February the leaders of the African Union (AU) and European Union (EU) committed to a joint vision for a renewed partnership. In the context of the Summit, Team Europe also proposed the Africa-EU Green Energy Initiative. The aim is to support Africaâs green transition in the energy sector.
