Knowledge Facilitation
The online course on “Renewable Energy Project Design and Development” started on the 10th of May. The three-week course is hosted by the SADC Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (SACREEE), and supported by the Africa – EU Energy Partnership (AEEP). The course aims to impart technical knowledge and skills to participants on renewable energy project planning, designing, developing/implementation, and installation.

Thriving Political Dialogue
On 18 May, 2022, the Africa-EU Energy Partnership (AEEP) will join experts and senior executives across the hydrogen and fuel cells industry in Paris for the Namibian Green Hydrogen Investment Forum. The AEEP will contribute to a panel discussion about how a Namibia-EU collaboration could be an ideal strategic partnership enabling a climate-neutral Europe.

Thriving Political Dialogue
While Africa is still recovering from the socio-economic repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Russian war in Ukraine poses new economic threats to many African countries. To that effect, the 2022 SEforALL Forum has invited the Africa-EU Energy Partnership (AEEP) to participate in the high-level side event “Africa-Europe energy cooperation and the implications of the war in Ukraine” on the 18th of May (15:30 – 16:15 GMT+2).
