Integrated Dialogue
Following the Africa Climate Summit in Nairobi, Kenya, the 12th Africa-EU Energy Partnership (AEEP) Energy Talks are scheduled for November 8, 2023. Titled "From ACS to COP28: Unlocking Opportunities for a Synergetic Africa-EU Climate and Energy Future," the webinar aims to foster dialogue between African and European stakeholders ahead of the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) in Dubai. The AEEP Energy Talks will feature key speakers and panelists addressing progress and challenges in Africa-Europe collaboration on climate and energy issues, emphasizing the crucial role of both continents in shaping discussions at COP28.

Thriving Political Dialogue
As climate change disproportionately affects the African continent and energy access remains a challenge for many, the event aimed to foster a constructive dialogue on achieving sustainable energy access while ensuring climate action. On 8 September 2023, the Africa-EU Energy Partnership (AEEP), in collaboration with Strathmore University and SDG7 Youth Constituency, hosted the side event “Aligning Energy Access and Climate Compatibility in Africa” at the Africa Climate Week (ACW) in Nairobi, Kenya.

Allgemein Thriving Political Dialogue
On 4 September 2023, the Africa-EU Energy Partnership (AEEP) organised the third edition of the AEEP Forum in-person and online during the Africa Climate Summit (ACS) in Nairobi, Kenya under the theme Building Bridges for Green Growth. The ACS side event brought together high-level African and European stakeholders to discuss the need to future-proof energy systems on both continents and importance of mobilising both public and private sector resources for renewable energy development.
