The third annual AEEP Forum will be held in Nairobi, Kenya on September 4th from 16:30 - 17:30 EAT at the Kenya International Convention Center (KICC). This event will bring together high level representatives from Africa and Europe to engage in insightful discussion and dialogue on bringing affordable and reliable enegry access across the African continent.
Following the two successful editions of the AEEP Forum, in 2021 and 2022, that attracted over 1200+ participants, the AEEP Secretariat will host the third edition of the AEEP Forum in Nairobi, Kenya (hybrid format) during the Africa Climate Summit from 4-8 September 2023!
The AEEP Energy Talks will discuss the potential of a solar economy in Africa. Africa possesses abundant solar resources but has limited solar generation capacity. By embracing solar energy, Africa can lead in the global clean energy transition, driving economic growth, enhancing energy security, and mitigating climate change. The webinar aims to bring together experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore the development of a solar-based economy in Africa.
The Africa-EU Energy Partnership (AEEP) will be hosting the tenth AEEP Energy Talks on "Utilising Renewable Hydrogen to Decarbonise Value Chains and Drive Development in Africa and the EU" on May 3rd, 2023. The virtual event will focus on the potential of renewable hydrogen to transform the energy landscape in Africa and the European Union (EU).
