High-level representatives from Africa and Europe discussed the first steps towards a potential joint and values-based Green Hydrogen Roadmap. The exchange was the first in a series of webinars organized by the Secretariat of the Africa-EU Energy Partnership, āAEEP Energy Talksā, which provide a bicontinental platform for experts on transformational energy topics.

The European research programme Horizon 2020 has opened a call for innovation and demonstration projects in the field of energy. Solutions can address a variety of topics relevant to achieving energy access, generation and storage, or energy efficiency in Africa. Grants of ā¬5-10 million are available.
